A crafty storm...

When inspiration hits, it hits. I think that all other artist or crafters would be able to relate with me when I say that. It hits so hard, you are in a fury where you are unable to stop your current work or project until you are just dead tired.

I think that is where I am at today.

I started exploring some art online and what other artists have done with painting and incorporation multiple mediums into one and then teh inspiration hit. I was able to create a form of art that blends what I love to do the most: stamping, painting textures, words and silhouettes.

That bug bite me and now I can't seem to find the brake to push it. My craft/work area currently looks like this.

I want to say I hate it, but that mess is really just proof of the inspiration that hit me and the wonderful things that I was able to create with it.

Inspiration

Inspiration can sometimes come in the strangest of places. The thing that has been inspiring me the most during the course of the past month? Book pages. As an avid reader and writer, I love books and the pages inside them. But also being a crafter and artist, I love with I can create with paper and on paper. So I got the inspiration to bring both medians together.

I am currently creating art pieces and crafts using all up cycled materials, including book covers and book pages. It's rewarding for me to be able to take something that I love and use it to create something completely different.
